The Tipton Community Foundation, the City of Tipton, and the Houghton Family Foundation have collaborated to build the Tipton Sports & Arts Complex just north of the baseball/football fields. The project is scheduled for completion sometime before the 2025 Tipton Church Picnic.

The Houghton Family Foundation, via the Tipton Community Foundation, purchased a new fire truck for the Tipton Rural Fire Department that was delivered in the summer of 2024.
